FRIED BITTER GOURD SALAD (KARAVILA SAMBOL)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 bitter melons
- 1 medium size onion
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tomato
- 1 tbsp of lime juice
- salt
- Oil for deep frying
METHOD
- Cut bitter melon, onion, tomato and green chilies into thin slices.
- Season bitter melon with salt and put into a deep hot oil fry until golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on paper towel.
- Combine onion, tomato, green chilies together.
- Add salt and lime juice, mix well. Put fried bitter melon and toss.
